First webinar entitled "The US market: political-economic orientation and rules of engagement".

Online
Open to all interested parties, subject to registration.
Confindustria Lombardia, in collaboration with the ITA USA network and the Rödl & Partner firm, is organising a series of free webinars dedicated to the US market with the aim of providing, in addition to an overview of the market, the necessary tools for companies with interests in the United States or those looking to explore an initial approach to the country.
Despite the negative effects of the pandemic, 2021 confirmed the importance of the US market for Italian companies: the USA is the third largest destination market for Italian goods, behind only Germany and France, and accounts for 9.4% of Italy's total exports. Furthermore, with a market share of 2.2%, Italy was the second largest European supplier to the United States in 2021, and the twelfth largest in the world (Source: Infomercati esteri).
The USA also represents an important market for Lombard companies: according to data from Confindustria Lombardia's 2021 Internationalisation Survey, the United States is the leading non-European country for sales and the top country overall for commercial presence and production sites.
The series of meetings aims to address the main aspects related to culture, trade and investment in the United States in order to provide companies with all the tools to best approach the market.
The first meeting, entitled "The US market: political-economic orientation and rules of engagement" will be held on Wednesday 30 March at 16:30.
Two further sessions will follow:
At the end of the webinar series, based on the production specialisations of Lombard companies, in-depth sessions on three sectors of interest for the US market will be offered.
