Target audience

Digital Start.up! Germany Tour 2020 is a free virtual event organised by AHK Italien (Italian-German Chamber of Commerce) and dedicated to innovative start-ups operating in the InsurTech, Smart Cities, Logistics and Mobility sectors. Specifically, the initiative aims to offer start-ups the opportunity to connect with large companies, potential partners and investors in the North Rhine-Westphalia region (Germany) as part of a 4-day digital roadshow.

Description of content and objectives

The initiative has been designed with the following objectives:

• To connect with the most promising start-up hotspot in the German industrial heartland – the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
• To connect with German companies based in Düsseldorf, Cologne and the Ruhr area.
• Meet 300+ start-ups, 200+ companies and 50+ top speakers at the RuhrSummit in Bochum, one of Germany's largest start-up events, featuring activities such as pitch contests, matchmaking and much more, all in a digital format.

Registration details

Proficiency in English is required to participate in the event. Interested start-ups should contact Dr Marina Rieger at rieger@ahk.it. Participation is free of charge, but limited to one person per start-up.
