Description of content and objectives

The event aims to present the results of the Digital Do It Yourself (DiDIY) project, funded by the European
Commission under the Horizon 2020 programme, which since the beginning of 2015 has involved 7 European research
institutions with the objective of defining a conceptual framework to explore and understand the digital DIY
phenomenon and to produce guidelines for its effective social dissemination.
It will also be an opportunity to discuss, together with representatives from public bodies, the industrial sector,
and education, the role that Digital Do It Yourself could play in digital skills development programmes,
in the definition of digital agendas, and in existing best practices in these fields.
