Description of content and objectives

This is the first in a series of three meetings dedicated to managing a digital export project: the opportunities, organisational implications, and necessary "tools".

Export and digital are an increasingly common combination, but a successful digital export process requires specific skills and knowledge.

Digital export should not be considered synonymous with e-commerce: the scope of activities and implications is much broader, which is why Assolombarda has organised a series of three webinars to address the topic from different perspectives.

The first meeting aims to provide companies with an initial overview of what it means to implement a digital export strategy, including the necessary skills and phases. There will also be references to the financial instruments available to support digital export journeys.

The webinar speaker will be Domenico Gullì, lecturer at 24ORE Business School and CEO of Itwill.

Upcoming sessions:

• 26 October 2020: The Digital Export Manager: who they are, what they do, and how their role is changing. The new skills involved
• 20 November 2020: Focus on foreign countries: USA, China, and other "emerging" markets. How to identify potential markets and target customers
