Widespread connectivity, the increasing availability of internet-enabled devices that exchange data, and the ability to remotely manage production lines and supply chains are all factors that expand the "surface area" of businesses vulnerable to cyberattacks, putting technological, production, and information assets at risk.
The "Cyber Index Pmi Project" was established through an agreement between Confindustria, Generali, the National Cybersecurity Agency, and the Cybersecurity & Data Protection Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano School of Management, with the aim of promoting a culture of cybersecurity and digital protection among SMEs.
The project consists of two main activities: the development of the "Cyber Index Pmi" Report, to highlight the level of awareness of cyber risks within organisations and the approaches adopted by companies to manage such risks, and the organisation of a regional Roadshow to help businesses prevent and effectively counter potential cyber threats and protect their information and production assets.
During the meeting, a live cyberattack simulation will be presented, followed by the presentation of the North West Cyber Index Pmi Report.
