On 16 December, during the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting, the 15th package of sanctions against Russia was formally approved, with the aim of strengthening efforts to counter the circumvention of existing restrictions and further limiting Russia's military and industrial capacity in its war of aggression against Ukraine. This package is part of a framework of restrictive measures that increasingly impacts the operations of companies that do not even have commercial dealings with Russia.
The webinar, organised by Confindustria Lombardia as part of the activities of the Technical Committee for Market & Internationalisation and the Enterprise Europe Network, will aim to analyse the new features of the latest package and the impacts of the compliance requirements that are causing the greatest difficulties for businesses, such as the adoption of dedicated procedures for the export of so-called common high-priority products and of contractual clauses prohibiting the re-export of goods to Russia and Belarus.
