The initiative aims to strengthen the Italian production ecosystem by connecting skills, technologies, and production capabilities across the country, while fostering the integration of businesses into key national and European value chains.

The project is being introduced with the launch of Connext 2.0 Aerospace, Defence and Security, a sector where consolidating national industrial supply chains can generate significant benefits in terms of competitiveness, innovation, employment, and economic growth.

According to Confindustria’s analysis, investments focused on Italian supply chains could contribute to a cumulative GDP increase of up to 3% by 2035. Particular attention is given to the role of SMEs, which account for over 80% of the national aerospace supply chain and are essential for developing a competitive, innovative, and resilient industrial system.

To demonstrate the platform's features, usage, and opportunities to member companies, Assolombarda, in collaboration with Confindustria, is hosting a dedicated webinar on Thursday 10 September at 10:00.

The session will present the tools available on Connext 2.0 Filiere and explain how to register, with the aim of supporting companies in expanding their networking opportunities, industrial collaboration, and access to new supply chains.
