Description of content and objectives

Every company, when providing goods or services, exposes itself to its customers and assumes a risk, as it chooses to provide value in exchange for payment deferred over time. During these two meetings, we will present and analyse practical tools for companies to manage their trade credit effectively.

The objective of this second meeting is to provide companies with solutions and tools to manage credit from its inception to its potential non-recoverability. In particular, we will answer the following questions:

• how can I protect myself against credit risk?
• should I insure my entire turnover?
• what happens after a customer fails to pay?
• how can I recover non-performing credit?

We will discuss this with Sara De Faveri and Stefania Rossi from the Assolombarda Credit and Finance department, along with several market experts.
