Target audience

The Chem-Match: Corporates meet Startups 2020 event is organised by Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH and EEN Hessen in collaboration with various other partners, including EEN Confindustria Lombardia. The initiative includes the “Corporate Insight” Workshop (01/10/20), a B2B event (08/10/2020) and the “Green & Digital” Corporate Challenge event (09/10/2020). All three events will take place virtually and are specifically aimed at the chemical sector, with participation expected from:

• Start-ups and scale-ups
• Large companies and SMEs

Description of content and objectives

The event is an opportunity for meeting and exchange between start-ups/scale-ups and companies in the chemical sector. Specifically, the aim is to foster collaboration between these different entities through various initiatives, all of which are free of charge:

• 01/10/2020 - “Corporate Insight” Workshop organised by 5-HT Digital Hub Chemistry & Health (DE), aimed at start-ups and focused on communication and negotiation with large companies, as well as preparation for the Corporate Challenge event. Registration is open until 30/09/2020 using the following link;
• 08/10/2020 - matchmaking event at the CIEX Europe Conference. Registration is possible until 07/10/2020 via the following link. The event is specifically aimed at start-ups and companies in the following sectors:

- Chemistry
- Biotechnology
- Bioelectronics
- Digital process management / IT
- Environment
- Innovation management.

Companies and start-ups wishing to register for the matchmaking event can select “EEN – Confindustria Lombardia” as their Support Office to receive assistance before, during and after the event. Furthermore, start-ups registered for the matchmaking event that have at least one confirmed meeting will be eligible for a free invitation to the CIEX Europe Conference (08/10/2020), which is aimed at R&D and innovation experts in the chemical sector.

• 09/10/2020 - Corporate Challenge Event “Green & Digital” . L'evento ha l'obiettivo di far collaborare start-up e grandi aziende a possibili soluzioni in linea con la doppia strategia europea verde e digitale. Registrazioni aperte fino all’11/10/2020. Registration details

• You can register for free until 7 October 2020 using the following link. Once registered, you must complete your profile in English, indicating at least one entry in the Marketplace items section. Completed profiles will form the online participant catalogue.
• Once your profile has been validated and made visible, you will be able to select meetings of interest: you must select the profiles you are interested in meeting from the online participant catalogue. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to accept or decline invitations from other participants.
• By cross-referencing these requests, an individual meeting schedule will be generated, which each participant will receive before the event.

“IT- EEN Confindustria Lombardia” is the Support Office to select during registration to provide you with free support for a successful participation in the B2B event.
