Target audience

This initiative is aimed at companies, universities, research centres, associations and clusters operating in the automotive and/or textile sectors from European regions involved in the Alpine Macro-strategy, and who are:

• interested in meeting the major players in these two supply chains
• looking for commercial and technological partners
• in possession of an innovative idea or a project related to digitalisation and/or the bioeconomy
• curious about the challenges facing the textile and automotive sectors, as well as digital and bioeconomy trends

Description of content and objectives

A thematic workshop and an afternoon of international bilateral meetings dedicated to the automotive and textile supply chains to foster synergies and collaborations in commerce, technology, and research and innovation partnerships.

The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for intra- and inter-sectoral meetings between the most competitive regions in Europe, in order to offer stakeholders operating in these two supply chains the chance to explore new solutions, business models, technologies and R&D opportunities linked to digital trends and the development of the bioeconomy.

This free event is organised and promoted within the framework of the Alpine Macro-region (Action Group 2 “Increasing the economic potential of strategic sectors”) and the European Commission’s Enterprise Europe Network, with the involvement of Confindustria Lombardia, Confindustria Piemonte, the Lombardy Mobility Cluster, ANFIA, the Biella Industrial Union, Sistema Moda Italia, Assoimprenditori Alto Adige and IDM Südtirol.
