Description of content and objectives

The MADE call for proposals, reopened from 25 January until 11 March, has a total budget of €750,000 and selects projects for innovation, industrial research, and experimental development in specific Industry 4.0 areas, with funding of up to €100,000.

Involvement of the MADE Competence Centre is mandatory for contract research, technological consultancy, and support activities. Beneficiaries may utilise the technological infrastructure and services provided by the competence centre as specifically requested in the application.

The incentive consists of a non-repayable grant covering a maximum of 50% of the eligible expenditure items as described in Article 7 of the call.

A summary of the types of reportable expenses is provided below:

  • personnel costs: researchers, technicians, and other support staff to the extent that they are employed on the project;
  • costs relating to instruments and equipment newly acquired, to the extent and for the period in which they are used for the project;
  • costs for contract research, knowledge, and patents acquired or licensed from external sources at arm's length;
  • costs relating to consultancy services and equivalent services used exclusively for the purposes of the project submitted by the company;

To explore all aspects of the call, the DIH Lombardia Bergamo antenna and Confindustria Bergamo, in collaboration with MADE – Competence Center Industria 4.0, are organising this webinar.

Following the webinar, it will be possible to arrange one-to-one meetings with our MADE representatives to discuss the submission of applications for the call.
