Statement by the President of Confindustria Lombardia, Alberto Ribolla

“A technology park in the Expo area. Confindustria Lombardia fully supports Assolombarda president Gianfelice Rocca’s stance regarding the future use of the Expo site in Rho-Pero. If we are to remain competitive on an international level as a region, we must leverage and integrate innovative infrastructure and high-tech, energy-efficient services, such as those currently being developed for the Expo 2015 site,” states Confindustria Lombardia president Alberto Ribolla.

“Lombardy,” Ribolla continues, “is home to many businesses that thrive on innovation and research. Providing these companies with the legacy of the Expo pavilions could benefit the entire region, while also preventing the loss of this significant asset.”
