Statement by the President of Confindustria Lombardia, Alberto Ribolla

Milan, 23 January 2016 – Regarding the renewal of the Confindustria Presidency, Confindustria Lombardia has not yet expressed an official position, as the matter has not been discussed by its governing body. Confindustria Lombardia will only be able to adopt an official position following the appointment of the panel of wise men, the formalisation of presidential candidates, and the regional presidential council meeting scheduled in accordance with its long-established institutional agenda. Consequently, media speculation regarding support for any specific candidate is premature and unfounded.
