Statement by the President of Confindustria Lombardia, Francesco Buzzella

The Lombardy Region's initiative addresses a critical gap: the national emergency caused by the mismatch between labour supply and demand, which has for years hindered the competitiveness of our business sector. The 'Lab Lab' web app will facilitate direct connections between businesses and young people, preventing opportunities from being lost due to a lack of awareness or ineffective intermediation. Having actively contributed to the design phase of this digital matching tool, Confindustria Lombardia will continue to support the Department for Education, Training and Labour, particularly by encouraging companies to engage in career guidance activities and promoting the initiative among its members.
