Paola Guffanti and Alessio Cè complete the Confindustria Lombardia Small Industry team

Milan, 17 July 2026 – The Regional Small Industry Committee of Confindustria Lombardia has approved, upon the recommendation of President Claudia Sartirani, the appointment of entrepreneurs as vice-presidents Paola Guffanti and Alessio Cè who complete the presidential team for the 2026-2030 four-year term.

With the appointments of Paola Guffanti, CEO of Forgiatura San Giorgio and President of the Small Business Group of Confindustria Alto Milanese, and Alessio Cè, CEO of Officine Meccaniche Cremasche and President of the Small Industry Committee of the Cremona Industrial Association, President Sartirani has defined the governance and objectives of the Regional Small Industry Committee of Confindustria Lombardia: “The appointment of Paola Guffanti and Alessio Cè will allow Confindustria Lombardia’s Small Industry division to maintain an even deeper presence across Lombardy’s territories and to highlight the specificities and needs of individual production chains. Representing over 90% of all businesses, SMEs are not only the backbone of the Lombard economy but also represent jobs, families, skills, roots, and the future. To give a voice to and best enhance this heritage at a regional level, we will need to work as a team, leaving no one behind,” declared Claudia Sartirani on the sidelines of the Committee meeting held today in Milan.

Vice-president Alessio Cè, in his inaugural address, emphasised that “only by working as a team can we face the great challenges awaiting our production system and build new opportunities for Lombardy’s small and medium-sized enterprises.”

I will bring to the regional level not only the voice, skills, and pragmatism of our territory, but also my determination, my drive to act, and my commitment to building increasingly solid relationships between entrepreneurs. I am convinced that the future of SMEs also depends on the ability to network, share experiences, and transform difficulties into opportunities for growth. One of the objectives I wish to pursue is to foster greater collaboration between Lombard companies, promoting voluntary groupings and shared projects that allow businesses to face increasingly competitive markets together. I also believe it is essential to continue working to ensure that institutions are closer to businesses. Small and medium-sized enterprises do not ask for privileges; they simply ask to be able to compete on a level playing field, with clear rules, reliable timelines, and institutions capable of being allies to those who invest, create jobs, produce value, and contribute to the growth of our country every day.
