Milan, 10 June 2026 – The Regional Committee for Small Industry of Confindustria Lombardia has today elected Claudia Sartirani as President for the 2026-2030 term. Sartirani, an entrepreneur in the cultural and corporate communications sector, succeeds Giorgio Luitprandi, who has completed his four-year tenure at the helm of the Regional Committee.
Claudia Sartirani’s term will be defined by a more accessible form of representation, one capable of simplifying processes, fostering connections, and translating local needs into concrete proposals: this is, in essence, the vision the President of the regional Small Industry committee outlined during her inaugural address.
“The more than 40,000 Lombard small and medium-sized enterprises in the industrial and manufacturing sectors are not merely the economic backbone of our region; they are a fundamental social, cultural, and territorial pillar. Our objective will be to increase the visibility of the value they generate and to strengthen their ability to influence decisions regarding the future,” emphasised Claudia Sartirani.
“Representation must also mean listening. We must bring what we learn in decision-making forums back to the local level, while simultaneously bringing the daily feedback we gather from businesses to institutional tables,” the newly elected President added.
Under President Sartirani’s leadership, the Regional Committee for Small Industry of Confindustria Lombardia will focus on developing closer collaboration with the most productive regions of the North—Emilia Romagna, Piedmont, and Veneto—to promote shared projects and working areas. Particular attention will be paid to strengthening the dialogue with the Lombardy Region on strategic issues for the growth and competitiveness of Lombard SMEs: training, skills, talent, innovation and AI, energy, infrastructure, simplification, access to funding, internationalisation, and regional competitiveness.
These are the strategic priorities upon which the activities of the Regional Committee for Small Industry of Confindustria Lombardia will focus during the 2026-2030 term:
The method Claudia Sartirani has set for her four-year term is based on "systemic action," understood as the practical ability to share experiences, promote best practices, avoid duplication of effort, and build alliances capable of generating value for the entire Lombard productive ecosystem.
Claudia Sartirani, active in the communications sector since 1989, has extensive experience in the design and management of cultural, editorial, and corporate communication initiatives, working at the intersection of the institutional, cultural, and business worlds. After an initial period as a founding partner of an agency specialising in large-scale cultural, sporting, and musical events, she has served as founder and CEO of Peo – Comunicazione Culturale e d’Impresa since 2017. She has held various institutional and cultural roles, including Councillor for Culture for the Municipality of Bergamo, President of the Donizetti Foundation, and member of the Board of Directors of the Luigi Comencini Foundation.
The new President of the Small Industry committee of Confindustria Lombardia brings a wealth of experience within Confindustria: from 2007 to 2015, she was a Councillor for the SIT Product Category; from 2015 to 2017, a Councillor for the Small Industry Committee; Vice President of the Small Industry Committee from 2017 to 2021; National Coordinator of the PMI DAY Working Group from 2021 to 2025; Councillor for the Small Industry Committee from 2022 to 2026; and, since 2025, a member of the Editorial Committee of the magazine L’Imprenditore.
